Effective treatment of **wastewater from pharmaceutical plants** is essential to ensure a sustainable production cycle.
The **MBBR process for pharmaceutical wastewater (eXeno™)** is generally a **multi-stage process** that, thanks to the use of **biofilm**, supports a more robust biological treatment for pharmaceutical effluents, which are typically characterised by a **complex and variable composition.**

Our white paper *“**eXeno™: the MBBR System for Treating Wastewater from Pharmaceutical Industries**”* offers insights on:

- The specific challenges of treating pharmaceutical wastewater
- The benefits of the MBBR process and eXeno™ technology
- Case studies of implementation in real pharmaceutical companies
- Optimisation strategies for both new and existing plants
